"The food was GREAT when we stopped in on a Friday evening just after Christmas; though the place was packed, our waitress ( Natalie ) did a wonderful job of refilling the drinks and checking back with everyone in our party ( there were seven of us ). I had a Papa Burger ( minus the carmelized onions and mushrooms ) with waffle fries; the burger was exactly as I had hoped and the fries were precisely as I like them: crunchy exterior with a fluffy interior. We had a reservation for a horse drawn wagon ride just after our meal so we didn't stay exceptionally long in the restaurant...but based on how good our food was, I'll definitely be up for going back !!"

"I have now made it a goal to try everything on the menu! The nachos and fried mushrooms are the best I've had... for real. The Mr. Jug steak sandwich was great, and the bloody was amazing as well. The decor is very comforting and the service was superb I shall return!!!!"

"This place is awesome. I came here with my grandpa and had the catch of the day, river caught cod, not cheap. You got a lot of food for what you paid for, also they let us in a few minutes before opening, we're big on small business doing the right thing, they check all the boxes, we had a wonderful conversation with one of the waiters I believe the owners daughter, she was excellent, amazing service, if you want good food and a good time come here"

"The food was so great, the bruschetta was soooooooo good and we had almost all the st Patrick day specials they were just delicious, the remodel is beautiful! And we chatted with people on each side of us, I love being in a place and meeting kind people had such a fun time. We'll definitely be back!"

"Great fish fry (perch, bluegill, or cod), and one of the best places for a burger in Wisconsin...better than anything I've had in southern Wisconsin; second only to Solly's in Glendale, WI). Outdoor seating is in a beautiful setting. And it's in the Kettle Moraine Forest area, very close to Long Lake and Maithe Lake, both of which have boating, beaches, and camping."

"Waitress and bartender are super friendly and welcoming. Service was stellar. One of the best bar bloody mary's i've ever had, i liked that they rimmed the glass with seasoning salt. The cod dinner and waffles fries were very good. Mom had fish tacos and rated them highly."
